0084 - 足[족/주] - 발 - foot; attain, satisfy, enough

The Story [이야기] :

  • This character 足 can be visualized as a person extending her right arm and right foot.
  • This character shows the knee-cap 口 of a person and the lower limbs, suggesting the meaning of "foot".
  • If the princess eats enough kimchi, she will be satisfied and play with her right foot.
  • If the meaning is "to exceed a certain degree/amount", 주 is used.
