The Story [이야기] :

• Originally, the character shows a big square/enclosure 囗, which was then transformed into 卐, with four lines pointing at the four directions of north, east, west, and south.  Eventually, the character took on its modern form of 方.
• Every region/local can be enclosed in a big square 囗 (old form of the character).
